Before Studio FUNA, one of our founders contributed to the renovation of La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club as one of the lead designers at Studio UNLTD.

Drawing inspiration from the textures and colors of the Pacific, the design embraces a layered palette of ocean blues, organic forms, and tactile materials. Custom furnishings and carefully curated details introduce a sense of understated sophistication, balancing the nostalgia of a storied destination with the ease of modern coastal living.

A quiet evolution of a beloved institution, the project celebrates the enduring relationship between heritage and reinvention—where familiar coastal references find new expression, and the rituals of gathering continue to shape the club's identity.
